The mashup you’ve all been waiting for.
Jasper National Park, and specifically Maligne Lake, and the hills and mountains surrounding it, will always be near and dear to me.
I consider both Maligne Blue, and Jasper no Kodō to be my most successful compositions. One captures the feeling of an entrancing alpine blue lake, while the other captures the very spirit of the mountains themselves. Together, they tell the full story.
A very kind client of mine, let’s call him E.C., adamantly told me he only wears these two perfumes layered together, as they enhance each other. Being curious, I tried it out, and I have to say, I agree wholeheartedly.
But the perfumer in me needed to tinker and fiddle until the melange melded seamlessly. And here we are.
Maligne Lake Blue incorporates Jasper no Kodō into Maligne blue by merging the perfumes with the creamiest tuberose absolute I’ve ever encountered, along with even MORE wild malinau agarwood, and white ambergris.
